Market Shows High Demand for Protection and Education

Ansell engaged a third party research firm to gauge market demand among construction professionals for protective glove products.

New OSHA requirements, On-site assessments, focus group research, and one-on-one interviews indicated high market demand - and a need for education.

58% of construction workers don't wear gloves

  • Of the remaining 42% that were provided gloves, half of them took them off because they couldn't adequately do their jobs with the gloves they were given.

That wasn't the case with Ansell Professional Series gloves. In user trials, Carpenters, Electricians and Plumbers showed very strong interest in purchasing Ansell glove products.
